“We have to do everything to stop the conflict”

Armenian documentary filmmaker Seda Muradyan has found today what many people in Armenia and Azerbaijan these days to be impossible – peace and good relations between an Armenian and Azeri community.

The film chronicles the story of two villages, one a group of Azeris living in Armenia, and the other a group of Azeris living in Armenia, who made the practical decision to swap villages in 1989, as their two countries escalated towards war. Twenty years on, the two villages are still tending each other’s graveyards.
